A Spotlight on our Senior Onboarding Infrastructure Engineer - Andrzej

Andrzej Maslonka is Lloyd’s Senior Onboarding Infrastructure Engineer who plays a crucial role on our Client Experience team. For the past 7 years, Andrzej’s contribution to Lloyd has been instrumental in the success of our streamlined onboarding process and client experience. Holding Cisco CCNA and CompTia Security+ certifications, Andrzej is dedicated to continued growth and furthering his expertise in the IT industry.

Andrzej is responsible for onboarding new clients through coordination with different Lloyd teams. His goal is to provide a seamless shift to our LloydCare solution through clear communication and consistent support for our clients. His typical workday consists of managing projects for our LloydCare onboardings and orientations, as well as discovering and auditing network devices, applications, and servers. When asked what his favorite part of his job is, Andrzej says, "My favorite part about my job is facing new challenges and working with our team to overcome them. It's incredibly rewarding to see our collective efforts result in a successful resolution."

Andrzej’s Story

As a biology major, I didn’t traditionally study IT but always had a knack for tech growing up. About 11 years ago, while studying to be a patent agent, I was given the chance to assist a law firm with a migration to a cloud environment. This experience solidified my decision, and I knew IT was the career for me. I joined Lloyd Group in 2016 as an Onsite Engineer and later became the Service Desk Team Lead before transitioning into my current role as Senior Onboarding Infrastructure Engineer. Through this journey, I was able to leverage my skills to help streamline our onboarding into a scalable process and its associated procedures.

What makes you good at what you do?

My determination and thoroughness are what make me good at what I do; I have a hard time giving up and will continue to work diligently until I feel that the task at hand is complete.

What are the contributing factors to your success since joining Lloyd?

At Lloyd, I am continuously presented with opportunities to grow and learn, which is definitely been one of the contributing factors to my success since becoming a part of this team.

What do you love about being a Lloydian?

The company culture is the best part about being a Lloydian. Everyone is eager to assist and help in any way they can.

What makes Lloyd different?

The transparency of our Leadership Team and company culture is what makes Lloyd different. All Lloydians have the ability to be honest without the need to be in agreement, which allows each individual to fully engage in a discussion and analyze all aspects of an issue.

How do you relate to one of Lloyd’s core values? (Be Human. Be Accountable. Be Better.)

I relate most to our core value, “Be Accountable.” Mistakes happen, and I believe it’s important to take ownership and use it as a learning experience to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I have lived in New Jersey my whole life and am a proud Rutgers alum, which is where I met my wife. Before the pandemic, we enjoyed traveling, although now our time is mostly spent with our young daughter. I’m an avid skier and am looking forward to teaching my daughter next season. When I’m not tackling an IT project, you can find me doing some sort of home project or outdoor activity.
