Bullet points and numbered lists help keep your documents concise and to the point. To list related ideas within a bullet:
Microsoft Word has default TAB stops but did you know that you can specify your own tabs? Follow these easy steps:
- Select your first TAB stop by clicking on the Margin ruler at the top of the document. The TAB position is demarcated by an L-shaped black mark on the ruler
- To specify multiple TAB positions, repeat step 1
- To remove a TAB stop, click on it, hold the mouse button and drag below the ruler. The "L" should turn from black to grey, and disappear when the (click/mouse button) is released
