Create your own TAB stops

Bullet points and numbered lists help keep your documents concise and to the point. To list related ideas within a bullet: Microsoft Word has default
TAB stops but did you know that you can specify your own tabs? Follow these easy steps:
  1. Select your first TAB stop by clicking on the Margin ruler at the top of the document. The TAB position is demarcated by an L-shaped black mark on the ruler
  2. To specify multiple TAB positions, repeat step 1
  3. To remove a TAB stop, click on it, hold the mouse button and drag below the ruler. The "L" should turn from black to grey, and disappear when the (click/mouse button) is released
If you found this tip useful, why not forward to a friend or colleague?
