‘Shift’-ing Bullets
Bullet points and numbered lists help keep your documents concise and to the point. To list related ideas within a bullet:
Position the cursor at the end of your bulleted line and hit
ENTER
, then hit the
TAB
key
To continue indenting, repeat the
ENTER
,
TAB
command
To return to the previous bullet style, press
SHIFT
+
TAB
. The bullet will indent once to the left
This also works for numbered lists:
Follow the procedure above
The next indent will start a lettered list
The indent after that will have roman numerals, and so on.
