Private Cloud and Collocation Services
Lloyd Group has the ability to house and manage your complete network infrastructure through our Private Cloud and collocation offerings. With Private Cloud, Lloyd owns all the hardware and licensing required to run your business and you pay a monthly fee for the service and equipment. Through our collocation package, you own the hardware and licensing and we store and administer it in our facility. Through these offerings, Lloyd Group can conduct your network functions behind the scenes and away from your office.
Lloyd Group Private Cloud services are hosted within two commercial-grade facilities in Ohio where our equipment is stored. The facility is equipment with redundant power, multi-homed internet, redundant air conditioning, generators and a state of the art 24x7x365 fully manned security system. It is located outside of the northeast power grid so it’s a valuable location for a Disaster Recovery site. Lloyd Group is able to allocate the space we share in this enterprise-level facility to our clients and extend these benefits for a low monthly cost.
Lloyd Group’s Private Cloud Service integrates these benefits into your business:
- Hardware. All the hardware required to run your network and any future upgrades is included in the monthly cost.
- Software. All Microsoft server and workstation software is included in the monthly fee and upgraded as new versions are released.
- Significantly Reduce Capital Expenditures. A local network needs to be upgraded every 3 to 4 years requiring a significant expenditure in hardware, licensing, and labor. Since Lloyd Group owns the equipment and licensing, this expense is eliminated and replaced with a fixed monthly fee.
- 24x7x365 Monitoring and Remediation. All servers are proactively monitored, 24x7, by Lloyd Group’s backend management software. In the event of an issue, our engineers receive and alert and respond immediately.
- Space. Since the server hardware is not stored in your office, you’ll increase the usable area in your workplace.
- Data Backup. All data stored on your servers is backed up twice per day. The backed up data is saved in a different facility to ensure that it’s available in an emergency.
- Onsite Support Personnel. Engineers are available at the hosting facility 24/7/365 to provide hands on support in if necessary.
Lloyd group also offers Collocation Services. Our clients pay a low monthly fee to house their own equipment at our facility. They are able to advantage of t features like generator backup power, redundant air conditioning, high security, and multi-homed internet that their office does not provide. In a Collocation scenario, the client owns the equipment but Lloyd Group manages and monitors the hardware and connectivity just like it was in your office.
